Fourth of July Desserts

With the Fourth of July coming up right around the corner, I thought it was an appropriate time to post some desserts that are perfect for this time of the year.

The first dessert I want to share is fairly simple to make, but it is very festive for the holidays. The recipe is for rice krispie stars. This recipe is something that even the kids can help you bake and prepare for the holiday. If you waited until last minute to bake something, this is an easy recipe that can be made quickly but will also taste good and look festive. To find the recipe, please click here.

The next recipe I have to share is for a patriotic trifle desserts. This recipe only requires 5 ingredients to make. Not only does this recipe look perfect for the Fourth of July holiday, but it is also extremely tasty. Trifle desserts are usually very easy to make, this is one of them. This was a very popular treat in my family at all of our Fourth gatherings. To find the recipe, please click here.

The last recipe I have is for Fourth of July fruit kabobs. This dessert is a perfect balance of being easy to make, but still tasting good. This is a perfect treat to make for the hot summer day because of all of the fruit that is in the dessert. If you are in a hurry, you can just chop up the fruit. If you want to be even more festive, you can cut the fruit into star shapes before placing them on the kabobs. To find the recipe, please click here.

Kid-friendly Desserts

I got my love for baking from growing up and baking with family members such as my mom and grandma. They would always invite me along to the kitchen to help them bake whatever they were baking that day. Below are some recipes that are kid friendly that you will be able to bake with your children, and perhaps even inspire them to want to bake more.

The first recipe that I have to share is for dirt cups. Dirt cups and named that way because they essentially look like a pile of dirt, but are much tastier. This recipe is kid friendly not only because of the easy level recipe, but also because they are made with ingredients that most kids will love. They are even topped off with worms, which was my favorite part about this growing up. To find the recipe please click here

The next recipe I am going to share could be considered one of the healthier snack desserts. The recipe is for peanut butter banana pops. This could be an easy way to incorporate some fruit into your kids. This recipe is also very easy to make, and something they will be able to help with every step. To find the recipe please click here

The last recipe I have for today is for a root beer float. This dessert is very simple to make and it only requires a few simple ingredients. This was one of my favorite desserts as a kid, and my parents would always let me make my own. To find a recipe please click here.

Recipes for the Cookie Lovers

Cookies have always been one of my favorite desserts. Cookies are usually fairly easy to bake compared to other desserts, and there is such a variety that there is a type of cookie that can please everyone.  Below you will find some of my favorite cookie recipes.

The first recipe I would like to share with you all is a brownie cookie recipe.  I believe that brownie cookies are one of the hardest cookies to bake because they require a lot of watching, as they need to come out of the oven at the right time. These cookies, if made right are delicious. They have a crunchy outer layer, while the inside is still moist and slightly gooey.  This is my favorite recipe for a brownie cookie that I have come across. The recipe can be found on the Food Network site, by clicking here

My personal preference for cookies, is to have them nice and soft, rather than having a little bit of a crunch to them. For anyone else who enjoys a chewy cookie, I highly recommend this recipe. This recipe is for the classic chocolate chip cookie. This is my go-to cookie recipe when I need something that is easy to bake, but still tastes delicious. The recipe can be found by clicking here

The last recipe I am going to share today is one of the more unique and fun recipes that I have made. This recipe is for fancy fortune cookies. These cookies are easy to make, and are customizable because you can make your own fortunes or add different toppings to them. The recipe can be found by clicking here.

Recipes for the Chocolate Lovers

It is no surprise for anyone who knows me to know that I love anything chocolate related. Today, I would like to share with you some of my favorite chocolate recipes from other websites that I find myself using very often.

The first recipe that I would like to share with you all is a flour-less chocolate cake. This recipe is quite simple for a cake recipe. It only requires about six ingredients to make, and most of those ingredients are ingredients that are found in the common household. This is the recipe that I use when I am craving something chocolate, but do not want to put in a lot of effort to make. You can find the recipe by clicking here.

The next recipe that I want to share with you guys is on the list of my all-time favorite recipes. I find myself making this recipe more during the summer and fall months because it is a s’more brownie. It is a little bit of a more involved recipe because of the steps it requires, but in my opinion it is definitely worth a try. You can find the recipe by clicking here.

The last recipe is a recipe that was a classic for my family growing up. This recipe is specifically popular for children. It has several names, but is most commonly referred to as puppy or monkey munch. This is a fairly simple recipe to make, and is a great snack for the chocolate and peanut butter lovers. The recipe can be found by clicking here.

New Shop Products Available

I have recently opened up a shop so that anyone who is interested is able to purchase some products with my logo on it, to help support my business. The first product I have created is a t-shirt. The t-shirt comes in a variety of fourteen different colors and is available in sizes small to a double extra-large. There is a Daisy’s Delicious Desserts logo that is on the front side of the t-shirt in the upper center. The t-shirt costs $27.50. The next product that I have made that is available for purchase is a coffee mug. The mug is both dishwasher and microwave safe that has a 15 oz. capacity. The mug is currently available in white and has my business logo on one side of the mug. The mug is currently available for a price of $14.39. The last option I have will be very beneficial to fellow bakers. I have made an apron that is available for purchase. The apron is currently available in three different colors and it has two larger pockets on the front for easy storage and quick access to items you might need when baking. It also has my business logo on the front center of the apron. The apron is currently available at a price of $20.39. To find any of the described products, please click here. I currently only have the three products for sale, but I will be adding different items to the collection soon, so please check back if you do not see an item that you are interested it!

2 Recently Discovered Products

I have recently come across a product that I have found to be very interesting. Most people do not ever consider putting beer and baking together. But I have found an eBook that includes 35 recipes that all have to do with baking with beer. The book provides step-by-step instructions for each recipe and includes a picture with every recipe that shows the finished product. The same producer also has an eBook for protein packed pancakes. This eBook includes 40 recipes with the step-by-step instructions and a final picture of the product as well. I would recommend giving one or both of these eBooks a try, as they are only between $7.99 and $9.99 and they are both full of new recipes waiting for you to try. Both books are written by Poppy Locks and can be found by clicking here. Another product that I have also recently come across is the Guilt-Free Desserts: Your Guide to Better Baking book. This collection provides 50 all natural desserts and has recipes for gluten free and low glycemic desserts as well. When you purchase this book, you will also receive a complimentary Awesome Appetizers cookbook and a Copycat Girl Scout Cookies – America’s Five Favorite Girl Scout Cookies Recreated with Real Food Ingredients book. This Guilt-Free Desserts book can be yours for a one time purchase of $19.00. You can purchase the book by clicking here. Either one of these options would be a great opportunity to learn some new recipes to bake.

A Look Back

Today I wanted to create a post that will help to summarize some of my previous posts.
The first post I would like to mention is my post on Chocolate Covered Pretzels. This is one very easy recipe to make, and is always a hit at my gatherings. Very simple snack to bake and then take on the go for a handy snack.

I would also like to highlight my post for the Fruit Pizza. This is one of the “healthier” desserts that I love to bake and my friends and family always love it. It is a good break from all of those chocolate desserts and is a nice light and refreshing dessert.

A third post I would like to point out is my post on Summer Treats. This post has a few different treats that I find myself tending to want to bake more in the summer because of all of the fruit involved and the summer feel that these desserts give off. Included in the post is a lemon cake, some homemade ice pops (very popular choice for baking with kids), some berry cookie cups, and some white chocolate cherry no bake mini pies.

One last post I would like to include is the Eating with your Eyes post. This post highlights how to spruce up and decorate some of the desserts that you bake. Also provided in this post is a like to a tutorial I have found to be very helpful on how to create simple chocolate plastic roses to help decorate cakes, cupcakes, etc.
