In order to bake some delicious recipes, it is important to have the proper tools to help you complete the process. I am going to review a few of my different favorite tools and utensils to use when I am baking at my home in my kitchen. The tools that I am reviewing I have used for making many recipes, and have found that they not only help me to make the process more efficient, but they also are not outrageously expensive in cost.

The first product I would like to review is the Kitchen Aid nonstick 5-piece bakeware set. Having the proper trays and tins to bake stuff in the oven in is key to successful baking. This set comes with 5 of the most common trays. It comes with a loaf pan, a muffin tin, and jelly roll pan, a square cake pan, and a rectangle cake pan. A majority of the recipes you will make will almost always use at least one of them for a recipe. These are nonstick and are even dishwasher safe as well.

The next product I believe is essential when baking is a food processor. I use the Kitchen Aid 7-cup food processor. I use a 7-cup food processor and it is usually big enough to hold the recipes I am making, and if it is not I will just simply divide the ingredients in half, and use it twice. A number of my recipes require this tool, and I have used this many time and have never had a single problem with it.

A third product I think is crucial for bakers is very simple, and cheap but a must have when baking. I am a firm believe that every baker needs to have a scraper spatula. They not only are good at mixing the ingredients together, but they are also very effective at getting the majority of the ingredients off of the side of the bowl. I have also used the Kitchen Aid scraper spatula and it has helped me to create numerous recipes.

Another product that I think is definitely a must have is a wire cooling rack. It is important for many recipes to use a wire cooling rack to cool whatever you baked afterwards.  Without proper cooling, the entire recipe that you just made could be ruined. I have found these racks to be so beneficial when baking things especially like cookies. Cookies require that you let them cool before moving them off of the baking tray, but if you have a cooling rack the cookie will more often than not turn out better than if you just let them sit on the baking tray because it allows them to still bake for a little while, but not overbake them.

This next product is definitely on the expensive end of the utensils and tools you will need when baking, but it is very convenient to have. The product is a counter top stand mixer. I have recently just bought the professional 60 series 6 quart bowl-lift stand mixer from Kitchen Aid and I absolutely love this product. Having a stand mixer is so convenient and makes the mixing process of the recipe so much easier. This particular mixer has 10 speeds and even has detachable accessories for easy cleanup. You can purchase different attachments such as a whip, a flat better and many other options to make it customizable to whatever the instructions of the recipe call for.   For those who do not like to leave things on their kitchen counters, this stand is even available in 10 different colors so that you can match the color scheme of your kitchen.

I would also recommend a good set of measuring cups. Even though this seems like a simple thing, it is important to have a good set so that you can accurately measure your ingredients. I would also highly recommend getting a different set of measuring cups for dry and liquid ingredients, as it will be easier to measure dry ingredients with measuring tools that are specifically made to measure dry ingredients and vice versa with the liquid ingredients.

As mentioned earlier, I would recommend that every baker have a mixer in their house. However, sometimes the stand mixer that you place on the counter can be a hassle for smaller recipes. So, I would also recommend that you have a hand held mixer in your home. The one that I currently use is the Kitchen Aid 9-speed hand held mixer. This mixer has a beater ejector button to make it easy to clean the beaters after you have used them. The 9 speeds allow for you to follow the recipe as it calls so you can mix the mixtures at different speeds. It even comes with a lockable swivel cord so that you can mix your ingredients without getting the cord in the way of what you are doing.

Having the right equipment is crucial for baking. To learn what brands best work for you, you will just have to try different things. Everyone has different likes and the only way to find out which brand best suits you is trial and error. I personally prefer Kitchen Aid for most of my kitchen and baking equipment and I would recommend that brand to everyone, but everyone has different tastes. Once you start baking, you will learn what tools you use most often, and you might want to spend a little bit more on those particular tools because you will be using them more often than other ones. If there are tools you know that you will not use all that often, I would recommend maybe not splurging and getting the top notch ones.

To go along with all of your baking supplies you will need some new recipes to create. I would recommend checking out the Kitchen Aid blog, titled the Kitchenthusiasts, which can be found on the Kitchen Aid website. They not only provide baking recipes but they also provide some recipes for cooking if you are looking for something new to do.
