Chocolate Covered Pretzels with M&M's

Chocolate Covered Pretzels with M&M'S

This very simple, three ingredient recipe is always a go-to for a fun to make and an easy, delicious snack. This is always a go-to recipe when I need a quick treat to bring to a party or a gathering. These are very popular for my family during Christmas time, as they are easy to snack on throughout the day (you can even use the package of red and green Christmas M&M’s to make them fit for the holiday).

Ingredients needed:

  • 70 Pretzels (square or circle work the best)

  • 70 Hershey’s Chocolate Hugs, unwrapped (About one full 12 oz. package)

  • 70 Milk Chocolate M&M’s

Directions: The first step is to preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Take a cookie sheet and line it with parchment paper. Place the pretzels in a single layer on the cookie sheet. Place one Hershey’s Hug chocolate on top of the pretzel in the center. Place the cookie sheet in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 4-5 minutes, or until the chocolate is soft but NOT melted. Remove the tray from the oven and place one M&M in the middle of each pretzel. Press down on the M&M to spread the chocolate out, covering the pretzel. Place in the refrigerator and allow to cool for approximately 5 minutes. Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.

You can modify this recipe to your preferences. Regular Hershey kisses can be used, or even dark chocolate kisses can be used.   You can also change the flavor of M&M’s that are used.
